While the band is playing "Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy", guy walks up to girl:
"I'm a cowboy. Let's go save a horse."

I'm pretty sure "Nice shoes, wanna fuck?" would work a lot better.

It does work. Particularly at Sci-Fi/Fantasy Conventions. I know too many guys (and a few girls!) who got laid that way.
